Be an AI Filmmaker Director using Pika Labs

I always dream to make my own Animatd film series, Dragonja, Deep Down, The Dragon’s Triangle, and other ideas that just slip in and out, while I do have sketches these can be enhanced with AI Image gen but they are stills now with AI Moving Images it might be a reality.

I just signed up for Pika Labs and am on the waitlist. Judging by the teaser video it looks like you can create anime, pixar movie renders just by typing. They are a rising star against runway ml to make Text to Video a reality.

Recetly they have raise a round of $55 million to create these tools, I learnt that the tools were made out of a failer to win a Runway ML AI Film contest. The founder was founded by PhD students from Sandford AI labs.

Pika was co-founded by Demi Guo and Chenlin Meng, both former PhD students in Stanford’s Artificial Intelligence Lab. Prior to studying at Stanford, Guo worked as an engineer at Meta’s AI research division, while Meng co-authored a number of AI research papers, including several pertaining to generative AI.

2 months ago this was Pika Labs but using Midjourney as a base

This is going to change how movies can be made by individuals.

I believe that its time to be an AI Filmmaker or making your own stories using AI Video tools.

In a previous life I would love to make my own STAR WARS or Fantasy Series, but lacking budget and know how stopped me. I did enroll into an animaiton course to learn it but it is taking too long and I did not have enough years to go through the grind and pivot my career to start all over as a junior animator with my reel rejection rates.

I beleiver that there could be stories that can be told with this technology and jumping in now

Potentials

I feel using this I can make a quick trailer and test it on social media to see if the concept will fly with a potential audience. There is no stopping AI in 2024 with images made with Text to image a thing in 2023. 2024 will get even more interesting.
